Everything has it's role to play in society. There are plants. They provide life to other organisms. They're a source of oxygen, which keeps us alive and breathing, and an energy source, as they are feasted upon by those who desire such nourishment. Then there are animals, both predator and prey. They serve as meals for other such creatures, and as hunters of those meals. Not only do they hold the nutrients needed by those who are bound to feast on them, but they perform several tasks useful to themselves and those around them, keeping several such organisms alive. People are also animals, both predators and prey. Just as any other. Everything and everyone is here for a reason, to live, and then to die, with everything else in between.
