I've tried to change,
Only gotten worse,
Everything I do ends in someone getting hurt.
Nothing goes my way,
Whatever I say,
Always comes back,
Just to smack me in the face.
So I'm giving up,
It'll be better this way,
Their lives will be easier,
They'll all be okay,
Now I'm out of the picture,
I'll live my life for me,
All alone, and on my own,
Only to keep them happy.
